Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all subscription plans and services purchased through NMC eLogbook (https://nmcelogbook.com). Please read this policy carefully before making any purchase.

1. Subscription Plans

NMC eLogbook offers the following access models:

  • Student Access (Institutional): Provided by your college as part of their institutional subscription. No direct payment from students in most cases.
  • Institutional Plans: Annual subscriptions purchased by medical colleges or hospitals for their students and faculty.
  • Individual Premium Access: Direct subscriptions purchased by students or faculty (where available).

2. Free Trial Period

Where a free trial is offered, no charges are incurred during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. Cancellation instructions will be provided at the time of trial activation.

3. Institutional Subscription Refunds

3.1 Cancellation Before Activation

Institutional subscriptions cancelled within 7 days of purchase and before any student accounts have been activated are eligible for a full refund.

3.2 Cancellation After Partial Use

If the subscription has been partially used (students enrolled, logbook entries made), a pro-rata refund may be issued for the unused portion of the subscription period, less a processing fee of ₹999 or 10% of the subscription value, whichever is lower.

3.3 No Refund After 30 Days

No refunds will be processed for institutional subscriptions cancelled after 30 days of the activation date, or if more than 50% of the subscription period has elapsed, whichever occurs first.

4. Individual / Student Subscription Refunds

For individually purchased plans:

  • Refund requests submitted within 48 hours of purchase and before any logbook entries are made will receive a full refund.
  • After 48 hours or after logbook use has commenced, refunds will not be processed.
  • Technical issues preventing platform access for more than 72 continuous hours may qualify for a proportionate credit.

5. Non-Refundable Cases

The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

  • Subscriptions where account access was terminated due to violation of our Terms & Conditions
  • Purchases made during promotional or discounted offers (unless otherwise stated)
  • Requests submitted after the applicable refund window has expired
  • Claims arising from change of institution, transfer, or personal decision to discontinue use
  • Convenience or processing fees charged by payment gateways

6. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request:

  • Email us at support@nmcelogbook.com with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Order ID]"
  • Include your registered email, order/transaction ID, and reason for the request
  • Our team will acknowledge the request within 2 business days
  • Eligible refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method

7. Cancellation of Subscription

You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent auto-renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds are provided for unused days in the current cycle after the refund window has closed.

8. Dispute Resolution

If you believe a charge is incorrect or have concerns about a transaction, please contact our support team within 30 days of the charge. We will investigate and resolve genuine disputes promptly. Please do not initiate a chargeback without contacting us first, as this may result in account suspension during the dispute resolution process.

9. Changes to This Policy

NMC eLogbook reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. Updated policies will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any updated policy.
